The Shopping Nazi

Hello, I am The Shopping Nazi

I am the oldest son of parents that grew up in The Great Depression. My father was the middle child of a railroad worker. My mother was one of 10 children.

Some years  back when I was a volunteer for a non-profit. Just helping where ever I could.  Then one day they asked me to help with the weekly shopping. So I went along.

When we came back I went into the directors office. I expressed my frustration with the money that was wasted on their weekly purchase. I asked if I could supervise  the weekly shopping, next week. He agreed.

The following week I cut the weekly shopping budget in half. It was from that point on for the whole time I help out there I was in charge of purchases. Many of the volunteers and staff started calling me, “The Shopping Nazi”.

Today, I show people how to save money, one product at a time.
